Professional English language editing

Our team has over 15 years of experience providing exceptional quality editing support to the academic community. We work across a wide range of disciplines including the sciences, including genetics, computer modeling, biology, and forestry, as well as the arts and social sciences, including business management, political science, and journalism. We have helped researchers publish in high-ranking journals such as Nature and Heredity and our clients have come to rely on our comprehensive approach to editing that includes copy editing, proofreading, and structural editing.

We provide full editing support for a wide range of research outputs, including journal articles, letters and short contributions, and full length edited manuscripts. We will not only proofread your manuscript for grammatical and typographical errors, but we also comment on structure, use of language, and flow. We help you to construct an argument that is sound, well-written, and easy to read.

In today's academic market, only the most well written articles are published in the top journals. Journal editors are demanding superior quality English from all contributors. We specialize in working with researchers whose native language is not English to help communicate their research and get their papers published in international journals.

Dr. Evelyn Nimmo, Founder and Director

I am passionate about research communication. Developing a strong, well-written argument is essential to getting research published, but many academics lack the background or experience to do just that. My goal is to help academics effectively communicate their research not only to the academic community, but to the world beyond as well.

I began working as an academic editor in 2002 assisting my colleagues develop research papers that were well argued and well written. Since then, I have expanded the services I provide to include research facilitation and translation and I specialize in working with non-native English speakers.
